May we never forget, that 9-11 was a horrific tragedy, however; I believe, it will also go down in history, as one of the greatest rescues of all times.
During the time of 8:46 a.m., when the first plane struck the World Trade Centers, it has been estimated by some, that there were in excess of 50,000 people in the twin towers, at that time.
Through God's grace, more than 46,000 people were rescued, as ordinary citizens, fellow workers, and public servants, reacted without a moment's thought of their own safety, to help those in needs. I will never forget the courage of so many, who gave so much, to their fellow citizens.
In that moment, people from all walks of life, were united together in one common cause - to save the lives of others. Like so many, I too felt helpless. I wanted to find a way to help. As I saw the events unfold, my heart was broken. Today, Americans across the country are more united than ever before. I am proud to be an American.
However, today I choose, not only to mourn those who lost their lives, but to be grateful for those who gave so much, to save the lives of so many. May God continue to protect and Bless the United States of America, and those in uniform who are dedicated in protecting and serving our country every day.
As we reflect on the events that occurred on September 11th, 2001, may we all be committed to being united together in Prayer, for those who lost loved ones, our Nation, our Leaders, our families, our friends, and our fellow Americans at home and abroad.
God Bless America,
